Ethiopian Cuisine is famous for its vegan options, but Nile Vegan takes it a step farther with its all-vegan menu. Family owned and operated, this hole-in-the-wall south of campus has great deals on its savory, vegan dishes. Spiced lentil stew, shiro (chickpea sauce), curried potatoes, and tofu firfir, along with a variety of other dishes, are served atop a bed of injera (Ethiopian flatbread). One of the more economical vegan restaurants in town, two can dine (and be totally full) for only $15.99 at Nile Vegan. Their space can comfortably seat around 16 people, and free street parking is available out front and in the surrounding neighborhoods. Hours 8:00 am - 10 pm everyday
