Bonifacio is a Filipino Eatery famous for its unique dining experience. They have a couple items on their breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus that are able to be made vegan (clearly marked on the menu). On Thursday and Sunday nights, Bonifacio transforms its dining room into a communal eating space. Tables are covered with banana leaves on which food is served, strangers are encouraged to mingle, and people eat with their hands. Reservations are required for these "Boodle Nights" and call ahead to inquire about what vegan options will be available. Bonifacio is located in Upper Arlington. Starliner Diner is a Cuban restaurant with a few veganizeable entrees. Try the Impossible Burger by omitting cheese and mayo, or omit cheese to make their three vegetarian salads vegan. And make sure you don't leave a Cuban restaurant without trying fried plantains! Starliner Diner is located in Hilliard. Hours Mon - Sat: 9 am - 3 pm; 5 pm - 9 pm Sun: 9:00 am - 3 pm Jason's Deli's vegan menu (available online) isn't particularly enticing, but they do have a spectacular salad bar. Choose your greens + veggies, and top with hummus, granola, and Balsamic vinaigrette. If you are unsure about whether or not an item in the salad bar is vegan, staff can give you an allergen guide. Jason's Deli has two locations: Grandview and Polaris. The Grandview location has a parking garage and the Polaris location has a parking lot. Taranto's Pizzeria has vegan crust and Follow Your Heart vegan cheeze. Add some veggie toppings and build your own specialty pizza, or just stick with a classic cheese pizza. Hours Mon - Thr: 10 am - 10 pm Fri - Sat: 10 am - 11 pm Sun: 12 pm - 10 pm Native is another juice cafe that's all vegan except for honey. They have a large menu of smoothies, juice, and even adaptogen lattes. Most items are vegan, marked with a "V" on the menu. Excitingly, Native recently started carrying grab n' go salads made by Woodhouse Vegan Cafe, all the more reason to choose Native. Native has three locations: Bexley, German Village, and the Short North. Zest is a juice/smoothie cafe that's almost all vegan (they serve honey :/). Purchase cold pressed juice, smoothie bowls, avo toast, or snag one of their vegan grab n' go wraps. The Dragon Fruit Bowl sans honey is one of the best smoothie blends I've tasted. Zest has five locations around Columbus: Dublin, Easton, Grandview, Short North, and Westerville. You can order online for pickup through their website Basil serves up delectable Thai cuisine and can make over half of its menu vegan! Pad Thai, Panang Curry, and more appear on the menu. Don't miss out on $1 'rogi night on Mondays at the Wunderbar location and Tuesdays at the Bourbon St. location. Vegan options are clearly marked. Pierogi Mountain has two locations: German Village and University District. The German Village location is within "Wunderbar."
